Tonight I sat down on my love seat and was in the mood for a war movie. As I was browsing through my selection I say to myself "Saving Private Ryan, Rambo, Gettysburg, Full Metal Jacket, Ah here we go Apocalypse Now." Going to grab my pillow and enjoy the smell of Napalm.
Funny thing happened at the same time across town though at the Governors mansion, Apparently he was in the mood for a historical flick as well. Browsing through his selection, he picked up "Jud Süß" instead. Now for those of you that are not up to date on your movies, "Jud Süß" is a film about "a 1940 German film about a sneaky Jew who tricks an 18th century Duke into giving him control of his kingdom. According to Wikipedia, the movie was made by the notoriously anti-Semetic German director Veit Harlan under the direction of the Nazi Party’s chief propagandist Joseph Goebbels."
Now, everybody has that guilty movie they didn't mean to watch and I am sure that Charlie knows that. Now as I am trying to find a way to make this seem like a mistake for you Charlie, your aide sends out a letter with the Florida Seal on it that oddly enough resembles the following:

According to alexpickett.com "Well, the cold hearts at the White Reference blog were thoroughly warmed, if cautiously:
At this point, there is no need to over-interpret Governor Crist’s reaction. It could be that he is simply a buff of old movies and that he finds this movie enjoyable. Eventually, he could find this movie educational as well. It’s worth the time to watch it."
Now even though you are glad to share this film about stealing something somebody else has worked so hard to gain, I am not sure the State is so happy to receive it. I can see how your predecessor, considering he was in a similar situation where he stole something somebody else worked so hard to gain about 9 years ago, would like this flick but you? Charlie, my credibility is going further and further down the drain trying to defend you and soon I will have the reputation of Rush Limbaugh(minus the drug habit) if you keep letting your aides write your thank you letters.
Next time if you want to thank somebody on behalf of the State, thank Spielberg for being awesome and stick with "Forrest Gump"
Night Citizens,
FuRyan
