Attacking McMahon? Tell the Whole Story

Citizens,

I hope by now you would expect the whole story out of me when reading this blog and I try to hold politicians and groups on either side to the same regulations. Recently I wrote the following to the group "Mothers Against McMahon" in the Linda McMahon Senate race in Con.

Dear Mothers Against McMahon,

Let me start by saying that I am strong Democrat and a Progressive. How ever on the other hand I am not only an independant wrestler but a WWE fan. Now I don't want you to think this is a bash letter cause it's not. I just simply hate both sides of a story not being told. You attack the company known as World Wrestling Entertainment specifically Linda McMahon of Degragation to women and the Mentally Challanged. Now while I understand not all Storylines are as kosher as possible, I know that as in any good soap opera, the reasonings as to why the bad guys are bad must be delivered. You went after McMahon for the attack of a Mentally Retarded character named Eugene. The part that you failed to show is that over the months, Eugene claimed his favorite wrestler is "The Rock". Well when the darkest hour came, and Eugene was done, Out walks his Hero "The Rock" to save the day. I will link to it here, keep in mind there are two parts. All I am asking is to portray the entire event as it happened. We can also cite the time that Linda got her revenge on Vince’s behavior by kicking him in the Groin and claiming she wanted a divorce. Please keep in mind that all of this is make believe that only occures after the proper hours of the day as according to the guidelines imposed by the FCC. Also keep in mind that when all of the above citations occurred that the WWE product was classified as PG-14 Rating. Now just beause you don’t agree with things on television, doesn’t mean that a person doesn’t have the integrity to run public office. Attack her on her Personal Politics, as opposed to the company she ASSISTED in running. Please tell the whole story next time.

Dear Netroots Right-Wing Tracker

Dear Netroots right-wing tracker,

It dawned on me that the internets (a title bestowed on Netroots Exhibit Hall's SSID), an unsecured network filled with public packages, are just waiting for your Freddy Krueger shank fingers to stab into the neon orange Netroots data now flowing like R Kelly at a high school prom. Hopefully acknowledging Elon James White's existence didn't escalate you to the point of imploding yet because there are a lot of other variables here you may not be used to in infiltrating our "series of tubes" and sessions. Like the "uncouth" exchange of facts.

You also may not be used to all the hysterical women here involving themselves in politics, just bleeding all over men's affairs. It's alright, if you take it one day at a time you might just make it back to tell your superiors that they have to just keep doing what they're best at to counter all this Netroots liberal bias: lying.

While you sit in our sessions lay back and relax; If we identify you we won't be taking part in the same Christian backed reaction from a right-wing convention. We won't spit on you, use poorly grammatical picket signs to swat you with and tout racist slurs (or should we say, reverse racist?). No, we won't shoot you either. Just note if we ask you for your papers, we're giving you a taste of your own medicine - that is if you don't have a pre-existing condition.

Note of advice, if you're trying to process all the epileptic light shows of charts and logic you might want to find a pair of sunglasses to ease off the sensory overload. Be careful not to leave them on when you get back to headquarters or you might notice a slight change of appearance that may cause you to think you're in a Rowdy Roddy Piper movie.

Thanks for the visit and don't hit yourself on the way out.

Cordially,
Leaflet

- Thanks to storm warning for the grand idea to make this delectable vent of a post.

Jeff Greene bribes Florida DNC member Jon Ausman

Tampa bay online associated press: florida news released today (blogging en route to vegas netroots nation, excuse lack of link. I will post asap) that DNC member and state committee man Jon Ausman received a check for $4,000 from democratic primary candidate Jeff Greene. A week later Ausman pushed a mass email endorsing Greene.

Greene wasn't just sloppy enough to pay Ausman directly but moving to florida in 2008 sheds light on his Florida networking -he trusted Jon Ausman. In Ausmans case accepting Greenes bribery is no less than a self rigbhteous act of corruption. If Ausman doesn't resign from his position then the multiple bylaws and full on laws he may have just broken will just beg for immediate removal, pitchforks and torches, mass hysteria, cats and dogs living together.

I hold a level of doubt whether Ausman will show at the next meeting with the DEC. If a no confidence vote is possible, there would be no hesitation of it being introduced by the many DEC members who will be so angry they will punch kittens in the face. Literrally. After ordeals such as these, be a vote or not, confidence in Jeff Greene or Jon Ausman is null.

GAWD DAMN MONGOWIANS!

Citizens,

So South Park is on and that's where the title came from, However that's what I said when I heard about this story!

Apparentaly according to the NYT, "Britain’s financial regulator disclosed on Tuesday that Steven Noel Perkins, a former oil futures broker, single-handedly engineered a jump in the price of oil a year ago and cost his firm millions of dollars with a string of unauthorized trades after a weekend of heavy drinking."

They go onto say that "Mr. Perkins had just returned from a liquor-soaked golf weekend with colleagues in June of last year when he sat down in front of his laptop at his home east of London and started to place bets on Brent crude futures, according to a report by the Financial Services Authority. He continued to drink and place bets through the night, and by the morning of June 30, Mr. Perkins had placed more than $520 million worth of trades, at one point pushing the price of oil to $73.05, an eight-month high. The trades by Mr. Perkins were the main reason the price gained about $1.65 a barrel in just over two hours in the middle of the night, according to the report".

So point of the story Citizens is that We paid more money because this guy went on a drunken bender, Had money and pushed the price of oil up.

“He claims to have limited recollection of events on Monday and claims to have been in an alcohol-induced blackout at the time he traded,” Says the report. So next time you pay 4.3 million at the gas pump, Thank that guy!

5 Ways Republicans Don't Care About Their Constituents

1: Old People

When driving home from work nostalgically listening to a Good Clean Fun CD (what's a cd?), now and then I will catch a Marco Rubio or McCain bumper sticker in the corner of my eye, which probably at this point has subtly twitched a little. I realize in passing I am almost guaranteed to see that the driver is an older white male. Maybe coincidence but have a go and see for yourself. Even republicans know their older Caucasian track history may have lost them the election in 2008.

Yet fiscal conservatives like McCain along with other more radical republicans like Marco Rubio as part of the GOP want to raise the age of social security to 70. When NBC's David Gregory falsely claims on national television that Social Security will "pay out more than it's taking in" in 2010 then maybe the prospect is considerable - except in the 2008 Social Security trustees' report, Social Security won't exceed the income rate before 2017 and will be able to pay for benefits in full until 2041. After that the benefit rate would still be at 75-78% for the next 75 years.

2: Young peeps

PA Childcare carried over 6,000 juveniles in its quarters. It didn't take long to figure out why there were so many incarcerated youth in so little time when Luzerne County Judges Mark Ciavarella and Michael Conahan were found to have accepted $2.6 million in payoffs to put juvenile offenders in the facility. Good thing we collectively ate those spoon-fed deregulation talking points or these kids might have actually had an extra year of "socialist" education. The GOP have been #1 on the voting record to cut the budget on education funding by billions. These cuts affect the students themselves to be inspired to question their red-tie reps - even in their own high school.

3. Women

Around 40 percent of them vote republican, particularly married women who have higher incomes - but why isn't it astonishing that any woman supports a party that is openly afraid of "undisciplined messaging" in the new election?

Alright ladies, say you're married and you're a republican and you're taking your last gulp of Sam's coke, setting down Glenn Beck's America's March to Socialism for a nights rest when POW! A figure you don't recognize has hurled something blunt at your husbands head and rapes you in his absence. Then through the dark you recognize that it's your zombie grandfather
coming back from the dead. No pun intended.

Sarah Palin opposes abortion on the highest tier, including cases of rape and incest (or in this case your zombie grandpa who apparently played a tree in Evil Dead 2). Palin is one of the 33% of female abortion leaders who is also 100% anti-birth control and pro-abstinence-only education. Palin will be the first to tell you that if you have sex you best be damn ready to squat down and have a kid in 9 months.

4. Blue Collar Workers

Remember in the 50's when we had labor unions - those "socialist" anti-patriots who gave us weekends, fair wages, benefits and ensured workplace safety during the "golden years?" A time when those who were grossing over $200,000 paid a top tax rate of 90%? As history.com put's it :
"The union movement became in the 1980s a diminished economic and political force, and, in the Age of Reagan, this made for a less socially just nation."
Republicans like Kentucky's Mitch McConnell came out against the financial reform bill after meeting with Wall Street elites like hedge fund managers and other execs. Does curiosity pass us by when the GOP fights against a bill made to regulate banks from kickbacks and high rate loans, the same system we have now that led to the mortgage crisis in the first place? Why would they continue to want the banks to gamble their accounts with your money and credit default swaps that former republican Jeff Greene made his fortune with? Finally, are senate republicans going to explain to blue collar workers why they filibustered 110 billion dollars in jobs late last month?

5. Christians

In the Reagan years it was commonplace to believe that free enterprise was part of piety. Coming from the pro-capitalistic movement and Glenn Beck's god ordained Beck University as it turns out Jesus isn't a republican after all. Did I just hear a gunshot zip through the humid Florida sky? Didn't Jesus say,
"go, sell what you have, and give to the poor." And "It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God."
What about,
"I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me."
The new republican inspired version:
" I was hungry and you gave me preservatives, I was thirsty and you gave me polluted water, I was a stranger and you built a wall in front of me, I was naked and you called it porn, I was sick and you gave me a chicken, I was in prison and you made a profit."

Jeff Greene- "My Wife won't let me revel our Financial Information"

Citizens,

GREATEST EXCUSE EVER!

With Jeff "Montgomery Burns" Greene's extended deadline to file his financial records, I went back and looked at some of the articles written about why Jeff can't follow the same rules Kendrick, Charlie,& Marco had to. I ran across an entry by the St. Pete Times that gave the basic rundown on how he is a billionaire and crap, but then I noticed how he says "I will get it filed. I've sent all the papers to our attorney. Unfortunately, I have a very complicated financial picture and he hasn't been able to get it in yet,". However after that statement he goes into detail on how his wife is worried ""We were very concerned about privacy and security,'' Greene said. "There's a lot of crazy people out there and we don't feel like publicizing our private information. There's addresses, there's all kinds of stuff my wife doesn't want to have (public)."

The Same "Crazy" people you want to represent there Jeff?

Anybody who has been paying attention know that Jeff Greene and Co. were Republicans about 5 minutes ago and there is even more proof in the pudding! after Greene brought up his wife in the interview, TampaBay.com went and asked her if she would reconsider. Mei Sze Greene response was that of the GOP, "Hell no. He promised me,"

Well, I promise you this. Greene is covering up something and I urge you to stay on your toes about this man and the dangers he presents to this State.
